roll up, roll up, it’s randomania!
The internet as usual has been a 3 ringed circus of comedy this week (d’you see what I did there?
) So where better to start than with our friends over at Chunk.ie who teamed up with Final Boss Media to bring you this hilarious look at classic Irish tv…
Ah the typical Friday dilemma…
I can’t think of any good #FF‘s. No one has really “brought it” this week.
Perhaps this is the solution?

Welcome back… The Princes of Lagos!

The Princes of Lagos are making a welcome return to the stage tonight at 4 Dame Lane!
Taking their award-winning, fully improvised show to the masses once again – you will be treated to a comedy tour de force by some of Irelands greatest improvisers – Deirdre Cleary, Samantha Murphy, Sorcha Hackett, Zanya Dahl, Lee Coffey, Gordon Rochford, Ciaran McBrearty and Jonny Loco.
They are fed by your suggestions (literally!) and so MUST come and shout out suggestions for them to act out scenes!
Always an excellent night out that Newstalk Radio claimed ‘was some of the best off the cuffmanship I’ve ever seen – highly recommended’

Neil Hickey is bringing his stand-up show ‘The Nerve’ to The International Bar on Friday 6th @ 6.30pm. Neil is a well-known face around the Dublin comedy scene and, according to the 10days website, “has finally gathered the nerve to be himself on stage, at least in a roundabout way. Why burden an audience with the details of a uniquely dysfunctional existence when one can concoct a fantastical retelling of events? Childhood to adulthood will be rendered hilariously absurd. The Nerve is a highly distorted version of one man’s life, a fast and funny everyman journey also for women.” With tickets costing only €5 this is a golden opportunity to see Neil in action before he takes his show to Edinburgh next month! Even more golden is the fact that we here at thecomedyscoop have wrangled a pair of tickets for Neil’s show on Friday 6th to give away to you lucky folks of the interweb! All you have to do is drop us a mail ; competitions@thecomedyscoop.com and remember to say please!
