Ugh, here at the comedy scoop we can’t quite believe its only Wednesday!! Seems like this week is destined to never end, so what can we do to cheer ourselves up? How about a nice cuppa and a singsong? But, what song could we possibly have come up with that’s always guarenteed to make you smile, no matter how ‘jolly rotten’ life seems?? Have a cuppa with us and I’m sure you’ll be singing along in no time….

Oh and good news for anyone around Drogheda, if you’d like to see the film we borrowed our cheer up song from in full then you’re in luck! As part of the Drogheda Arts Festival they’ll be showing ‘The Life of Brian’ this Friday 4th May in their outdoor cinema! So seeing as today is my birthday I have decided to be somewhat self-indulgent and create my birthday wish list Don’t worry it is funny and will give you a giggle (i hope!) Here goes….

1. A car so that I can drive to both gigs in Dublin and outside Dublin. This would be cool cos ye know there isn’t just comedy in Dublin…I’m not looking for something fancy or flash…Something like this would do…..

2. A Cloning Machine –  Strange birthday wish I hear you say? Well yes, yes it is. But If you think about it logically, cloning machine means there can be more of me’s running around meaning I can review more gigs. Happiness all round!

3. A recliner chair and someone to carry me to all the gigs. – Now the recliner chair cos sometimes the seating leaves a lot to be desired! So a nice comfortable recliner will do the trick! Something like this maybe?

And maybe this guy carrying me? He could protect me too!

4. A remote control – So that I rewind and hear again all the funny stuff I hear at gigs, or fast forward…..depending in how the gig is going!

5. An endless supply of  tea and biscuits cos ye know tea and biscuits were the best things ever invented and are the best thing to be eating while writing reviews cos they put me in a good mood!  

So there you have it lads, my birthday wish list! It’s not too much to ask is it? I am off now to make a cup of tea! Anyone want one?
