Comedy: My Favourites
As this will be my last blog I decided to gather together some of my favourite comedy videos into one post. In no particular order here they are.
First up, some improv from the Princes of Lagos……their command of accents is awesome!
Next, Foil Arms and Hog. It’s an old one but I love these guys!
Anyone that can rap about tea is a good un in my book….step in Doc Brown!
Gigs- Inn Jokes September

Headliner for the evening Colum McDonnell has gigged all over the place. He’s been on The Savage Eye, Podge and Rodge and here he is on The World Stands Up on Comedy Central.
Unlike the Irish soccer team, Colum’s comedy is effortless and unlike their passes, his jokes don’t go sailing over your head leaving you baffled and angry. They are perfectly measured flighted gems that you can take easily (unless your touch is shit)Joining Colum is Neil Hickey. Neil was on TV on The Liffey Laughs back in 2005, then took a break from comedy for a few years. He appears to have used that time to fill his head with surreal, smart, stories and jokes. His last appearance at Inn Jokes was one of those magical evenings where, when he paused at the end of joke a hyperventilating-with-laughter audience mentally made a note to thank him for the chance to breathe.
Our opening act will be Niamh Marron who also was a firm favourite with the Inn Jokes crowd when she played a year ago. Coming from the fertile comedy pastures of Monaghan, Niamh is an exciting, hilarious and energetic performer and is making waves. Less than a week after Inn Jokes she heads to London to take part in the UK and Ireland Funny women final so she’ll be in flying form (although careful to avoid any last minute metatarsal injuries)
There’ll also be a short slot from Tiny James.
Your host is Colm O’Regan.
