Jeff Dunham – Minding the Monsters ‘Halloween Special’
As you already know we here at thecomedyscoop had the pleasure of seeing Jeff Dunham do his thing live in the O2 last year. As part of that show he gave us a sneak peek at the now completed Minding the Monsters ‘Halloween Special’. So it is with pleasure that we now introduce you to all your favourite Dunham friends, slightly modified for the Halloween season!
How could you resist Batnut?
That’s a heck of a costume Walter!

Wohooooooo it’s Friiiiiiday! So how was your week? Short? Well here at the Comedy Scoop we would like to help you get the weekend off to a good start by giving you all the things that have made us giggle or down right laugh out loud this week! So let’s start with the people we got to see this week.
We got the chance to pop along to Andrew Stanley’s solo show in the Laughter Lounge, it was great fun and in honour of this event here is a video of the man in action!
Am standing beside d sexiest man I’ve probably ever seen in Ireland. If was drunk I’d hug him + tell him Iove him. He is 100% HOT!!!
Haha! This is what twitpic was invented for Niamh!
I came across this Facebook page this week - I love to laugh!. They post random pictures which I must admit are pretty hilarious! Just take a look at this one for an example!
I reckon we have all had moments like this eh??
Aren’t we all just headless chickens going around in circles here on Twitter following each around??

Funny thoughts indeed Niall
We also got the chance to see Jeff Dunham this week. Here he is in all his glory with Peanut my favourite from the night!
Have you ever bought or sold anything on Donedeal? Tis normally cars, laptops, books and that sort of thing right? Well one woman has taken it just a tad bit further and put her husband (yes you read that right, her husband!) up for sale on the website! And here is the proof! How much would you pay for him?

Laughter is the best medicine but it’s also pretty handy for concealing insults. “Hahahahahahahahahayou’resomeprickhahahahahahahahaha!”
Wise words and good advice there Jarlath!
And lastly……
Have a great weekend guys!!
Walter’s Words of Wisdom :)
As ye already know we had a great time at Jeff Dunham’s gig last weekend in the O2
One of my favourite parts of the whole experience was the novelty pre-gig entertainment in the form of 3 gigantic screens on which we were shown some interesting facts about Jeff Dunham, were given some unscramble the phrase games to try to figure out and, best of all, we got to ‘Ask Walter’ a few important questions!
It seems I got a little snap happy during the ‘Dear Walter’ moments so I have tried to narrow down my selection… but they were all laugh-out-loud funny so you’ll just have to forgive me for including so many!
Review: Jeff Dunham ‘Controlled Chaos’ @ The O2
I am a little late to the I love Jeff Dunham party I must admit. I caught him on a Comedy Central special at the start of last year and I was hooked. Him and his friends had me laughing so hard that I could hardly breathe. I also learned around this time that he is not liked by everyone in the world!
I was mesmerised by this ventriloquist and I was delighted when I found out that he was coming to Ireland and even more delighted when I got the opportunity to see him live! So I was uber excited to see him in the O2 last Saturday!
For the doubters out there, the O2 was packed (see the picture!) Before the show began they had “advice from Walter” projected on to a screen on the stage which was hilarious and got the crowd into the mood! The lights dimmed and it was Jeff time! The audience was treated to a history lesson on Jeff’s career (including some of the bad fashion choices!) It was a nice touch for some of his newer fans, I hold my hand up here, to see how some of the characters were created and how long Jeff has been on the scene.
Jeff arrived on stage in the most unassuming way I have ever seen a comedian walk out on stage. He walked out rather quietly and began his show even before people had realised he was on stage! Now as I have said I love Jeff, but I must admit I was a little disappointed by his comedy routine at the beginning. Maybe it’s because I am more used to the puppet work? Jeff also told us that he was filming a ‘Monster special’ on the night so the gig would be a little longer than normal….my first thought? WOHOO more Jeff! Read the rest of this entry »
