9PM – Jarlath Regan – Players Theatre – €5
Jarlath Regan dreamed of being a professional basketball player but shelved the ambition due to a combination of injuries and on the early on-set of “cop on”. The NBA’s loss has been stand-up comedy’s gain, and in the following years he has gained a reputation with the industry and audiences for his uplifting, inventive and relentlessly funny stand-up.

Jarlath Regan… Ha, Ha, Ha! Live Recording @The Laughter Lounge
So whose excited to hear Jarlath Regan is recording another stand-up comedy album? The last one was such a success you’re all being invited to share in the fun of recording this one…

Come to the recording of Jarlath’s new standup comedy album “Jarlath Regan…Ha,Ha,Ha!” on November 21st at Dublin’s biggest comedy club the Laughter Lounge. At this stage Jarlath is a familiar face. He is the guy you saw on Russell Howard’s Good News, The Panel or on the street that time you said to your friend “I think I know that guy”. He is also the man who wrote the best-selling book “How To Break Bad News”, the creator of hit quiz show “Standup & Answers” and the same fella the Independent called “the funniest man living in Ireland today”.
The show is a collection of Jarlath’s newest funniest material to date including stories, greeting cards and illustrated findings from his research. Come down and see how he manages to record visual material on to an audio album or just laugh at his attempt to do so. Support on the night will come a surprise guest yet to be announced.
In his own words, “It’s a one off night in everyone’s favorite Lounge to record my new live album. Expect the unexpected or failing that, expect new material, old favourites, new cards, FREE cocktails and good feelings. You won’t leave disappointed. I promise.”
Here’s what the Press have said:
