Event – The Improvised Panto @ Cork Opera House

‘Tis the season to be jolly & there’s nothing like a good Panto to get you smiling so when we heard that ITSA Theatre Company were bringing their unique pantomime idea back to Cork we had to share the good news!

Following last years huge success, ITSA Theatre Company is back in The Half Moon Theatre this December with The Improvised Panto.

ITSA Theatre Company has gathered some of Cork’s funniest actors and improvisers to present a different pantomime each night, based on audience’s requests. It’s all improvised, so nothing is prepared or scripted. Expect the unexpected, the hilarious and the outrageous as our actors weave their way through classic fairy tales without so much as a trail of breadcrumbs to guide them wherever the audience wants them to go.

It’s a whole new world of panto, and anything is possible. Including spontaneous bouts of singing, dancing, laughing, crying and the telling of outrageous lies. No rules, no writing, just rollicking bouts of laughter and rib-tickling ridiculousness. Is he in front of you? Is he behind you? Your guess is as good as ours!

With a strict ‘Over 18′s only’ warning on the site this looks set to be a night of Panto as you’ve never seen it before… so what’s stopping you from booking your tickets now?

The show stars: Laura Harte, Laura Daly, Ciaran Bermingham, Annette Roche & Hilary Rose
Where: The Half Moon Theatre, Cork
When: Nightly until Sat. 22nd Dec 2012
Time: 8.30pm
Cost: €15/€12
