So it’s Friday, it’s a bank holiday weekend, it means one thing…..WOHOOOOOOO! It’s also Kilkenny Cat Laughs weekend so we are extra giddy here at The Comedy Scoop!
There have been plenty of things that have made us literally laugh out loud this week, so here are just a selection of those things right here in a tidy little post just for you! Enjoy!
First up this week I came across this video on Facebook during the week and maybe it’s just because I come from a family of singers but dear God it had me rolling around the floor laughing…. it’s an oldie but a goodie!
Ms Niamh Marron gave us an insight into the social life of comedians this week with this tweet
This is how comedians talk to each other!!

With the week that’s in it I came across this picture and couldn’t help but laugh at it….so true really!
Carol Tobin tells us how voting is done….Not sure we should count on her though eh?
I don’t know if I voted correctly. I handed a guy my passport. Then we kissed. Then we went to an ATM & withdrew all my money. Now he’s gone.

Mrs Browns Boys won a Bafta this week so in honour of this….. S/he speak the truth don’t you think?
This week the fab Danny O’Brien scooped the prize in Stand up for FM 104. Danny is the regular MC for the Comedy Crunch in the Stag’s Head and is a firm favourite among Irish audiences. But just for you I have included a short clip so ye can see just why he won! Enjoy
And finally this week…..as we are heading to Kilkenny for the Cat Laughs festival…I thought it only fitting to end with the a Kilkenny tribute! This should be a great weekend….got your tickets yet?
Have a great bank holiday weekend guys! Hope to see you around Kilkenny!
